As a result of the development of science and technology, the terminological layer of the language has not developed. In particular, the number of lexical units related to the field of household appliances, along with the scientific and technical terms of the Uzbek language, is increasing day by day. The study of terminology related to the field of household appliances is one of the current problems of lexicology. After all, the nominative properties, etymology and dynamics, semantics and other linguistic properties of terms are separate areas of research. This research work is devoted to the study of the terms of the field of household appliances that entered the Uzbek language from other languages, dividing them into lexical and thematic groups.
