The article examines the role and significance of pedagogical competence in the development of students' independent learning. This article discusses the importance of pedagogical competence in the educational process, the formation of effective interaction between students and teachers, as well as the main methods and approaches to independent learning. The research provides a scientific analysis of the influence of pedagogical competence on students' approach to independent learning and its contribution to the educational process
