This article examines the role of trade unions in the legal, economic, and so cial contexts in Uzbekistan since its independence, focusing on practical outcomes in the Andijan region. The study highlights how trade unions have strengthened their position as a vital sociopolitical institution by regulating labor relations, protecting workers’ rights, supporting social programs, and facilitating adaptation to a market economy. Furthermore, the article addresses the future prospects of trade unions in the era of digital transformation, international labor standards compliance, and economic modernization.
