The article explores the issue of enhancing speech effectiveness in business discourse through the use of phraseological units. It analyzes how idiomatic expressions in English business communication introduce imagery, emotional richness, and cultural diversity into the discourse. According to the research findings, phraseological units that motivate, express risk and danger, strengthen cooperation and agreement, and ensure trust and reliability are identified as key pragmatic tools of business communication.
