Although linguoculturology entered the field of linguistics only at the end of the twentieth century, it has already succeeded in
attracting the attention of many linguists. As a point of convergence between language and culture, linguoculturology is regarded
as a science that studies the traditions, customs, ceremonies, and values that, over the centuries, have become an integral part of a
particular nation's mentality. This article focuses not only on the contribution of both international and Uzbek scholars to the
development of linguoculturology but also discusses the quotations of prominent linguoculturologists, their works, and the
concept of values.
