COMMUNICATIVE PURPOSES AND FUNCTIONS OF ADJECTIVE-COMPONENT PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK LANGUAGES
This article analyzes the communicative purposes and functions of adjective-component phraseological units in relation to language in English and Uzbek. It provides a general definition of phraseological units, discusses their communicative roles and language-bound functions. Adjective-component phraseological units serve various linguistic functions, including informative, social, cultural, stylistic, and motivational roles
