This article provides an in-depth historical-linguistic and cultural-philosophical analysis of the interaction processes between terminological systems formed during the history of language development. The study examines the decisive factors in the formation and evolution of terminological systems, including scientific knowledge, religious-philosophical thought, artisanal practices, and multilingual contexts. Furthermore, the article explains the mechanisms of interaction between terminological systems based on modern linguistic methods—such as borrowing, calquing, semantic adaptation, neologization, and metaphorization—illustrated with historical examples. The role of terminology within the language system, its communicative and epistemic functions, as well as its significance in the advancement of modern science and society, are also analyzed
