This article examines the organizational-institutional and conceptual foundations of the state policy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in managing and mitigating the consequences of emergency environmental situations. The analysis covers the existing legal framework, interagency coordination systems, and monitoring mechanisms. The study also reviews international best practices and provides recommendations for their adaptation to Uzbekistan’s context. The research outcomes offer important scientific and practical conclusions for enhancing the country’s environmental security system
