WATER POLLUTION AND THE ECOLOGICAL CONSEQUENCES OF GLOBAL WATER SHORTAGE
Pollution of Water Resources and shortages of drinking water continue to be one of the global environmental challenges. This article provides information on the main sources of anthropogenic water pollution, the causes and environmental consequences of global water scarcity. It has been stated that industrial waste, pesticides and mineral fertilizers being used in agriculture, domestic and solid waste and global climate changes are leading to an increase in water shortages. The results of the research carried out showed that it is a requirement of today to develop important strategies for sustainable management of Water Resources and measures aimed at protecting the environment.
