KINETIC AND THERMODYNAMIC ANALYSIS OF NON-ISOTHERMAL DECOMPOSITION OF WEAKLY BASED ANION EXCHANGER
Thermal analysis of a weakly basic anion exchanger with amidine groups based on a copolymer of acrylonitrile with divinylbenzene was carried out. Two decomposition ranges were found: I (26.39–278.63°C) – dehydration and destruction of labile fragments (Ea ≈ 55 kJ/mol), II (278.63–600.89°C) – destruction of the polymer chain and functional groups (Ea ≈ 180 kJ/mol). Thermodynamic parameters were calculated. It was found that the material is stable up to 400°C and suitable for high temperature applications.
