Speech etiquette and eristics are integral parts of the communication process between people. Speech behavior includes how a person expresses their thoughts, how they interact with others, and how they influence their ideas. Eristics is the art of defending one's opinion and refuting opposing viewpoints during communication. This article analyzes eristics from the perspective of studying speech behavior.
