The article examines the specific features of the poetics of zoonyms in Russian and Uzbek works of art and its comparative analysis. It is emphasized that the poetics of zoonyms is a subtle and multi-layered area of -literary analysis that allows us to understand the relationship between man and nature, language and thought, culture and identity. Through zoonyms, literature performs the complex task of modeling the world, where the animal is not only an object of observation, but also a mirror of the human soul.
