The article “Comparative analysis of the Microtoponyms of Tashkent and London: Reflection of Cultural and Historical Features” examines the microtoponyms of two cities in order to identify their cultural and historical significance. Microtoponyms, as part of the urban topography, reflect the complex cultural, historical, and social processes that shape the identity of cities. The article explores the microtoponyms of Tashkent, which reflect its rich history, the influence of Islamic culture, the Soviet period, and place names reveling national identity, as well as London, where toponymy is linked to Roman, medieval, industrial, periods and the reflection of multicultural heritage.
