ON THE COINS OF THE GRECO-BACTRIAN KING EUCRATIDES I
There are many problems waiting for a scientific solution in the science of history. One of them is the description of the coins of the Greco-Bactrian kingdom in the history of the Uzbek statehood, the truthful and critical analysis of social and cultural life issues with written and material sources is one of the urgent problems facing the science of history and historians today. The role of numismatics in studying our history is incomparable. Coins provide us with valuable information about political, economic, religious worldviews of nations, titles of rulers, in addition to the historical and cultural events that took place from BC to the present day. The article contains information about the coins of the Greco-Bactrian kingdom and their classification, types and circulation of coins, important numismatic findings related to the Greco-Bactrian kingdom.
