QADIMIY XORAZM AHOLISI E’TIQODLARIDA TABIAT VA INSON MUNOSABATLARI
This article examines the formation of human–nature relations in the belief systems of ancient Khorezm. Particular attention is given to the role of animism and totemism, which, through conceptions of water, trees, animals, and sacred beings, contributed to the development of ecological culture. The study also explores beliefs about jinn and other supernatural forces that reinforced the sacralization of nature and the preservation of ecological balance. The findings demonstrate that ancient religious beliefs served not only social but also ecological functions.
