This article presents the synthesis of azo compounds based on aromatic amines with various substituents in the para-position and
2-naphthol. The reaction conditions, physicochemical properties of the azo compounds, and the structures of the obtained products
were studied using spectroscopic methods. Based on the results obtained, the effect of substituents on the reaction yields was
investigated.
