This article provides a scientific and theoretical analysis of the epidigmatic features of words borrowed from French, illustrated with examples based on the Explanatory Dictionary of the Uzbek Language. It has been demonstrated that the closeness of loanwords to evaluative collocations, their possession of positive semantic prosody in texts, and the multilayered semantic differentiation between socio-cultural norms and multiple meanings represent typical manifestations of epidigmatic phenomena. It is noted that identifying and modeling the epidigmatic features of French borrowings holds strategic importance for the Uzbek language on at least three levels.
