AL-FARABI'S PHILOSOPHICAL IDEAS AND THEIR SIGNIFICANCE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF MODERN CIVILIZATION

This article analyzes the scientific and philosophical heritage of the great thinker Abu Nasr Al-Farabi, his place in the history of
thought and his philosophical and moral significance in the life of humanity today. The ideas put forward in Al-Farabi's works such
as "The City of Virtuous People", "On the Achievement of Happiness", "On the Meanings of Reason" are re-examined from the
perspective of modern humanism, ethics, politics and philosophy of education. The article highlights the relevance of Al-Farabi's
teachings for the civilization of the 21st century, in particular, the importance of the ideas of spirituality, social justice and
rationality.
