THE CONCEPTUAL FIELD OF “LOYALTY” IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK EXPLANATORY DICTIONARIES

This article analyzes the concept of “loyalty” based on the semantic and conceptual features found in English and Uzbek explanatory dictionaries. The study examines lexical units such as loyalty, faithfulness, devotion, fidelity in English and sadoqat, vafodorlik, ishonchlilik, muhabbat in Uzbek, determining their conceptual domains. Conceptual, semantic, and cross-cultural analytical methods are employed in the research.
