The article examines the current state of teaching Russian as a foreign language in the context of digitalization. It analyzes changes in teaching methods using digital platforms and AI, the advantages of the digital environment for developing language competencies, and adaptation challenges. Promising directions for the development of RFL and the improvement of digital materials are identified.
