USE OF THE PORTABLE RADON MONITOR FYCDY-30 INSTITUTE AT THE SEISMOLOGY INSTITUTE (RADON CONTENT GROUNDWATER AND AIR)
This article describes the design features, operating principle, and practical application of the Portable Radon Monitor FYCDYP30 radon device in measuring the concentration of radon gas in the air, groundwater, and soil environment. Taking into account
the radioactive properties of radon and its negative impact on human health, the importance of using this device is scientifically
explained. The release of radon to the surface through groundwater is closely related to the geological structure, tectonic activity,
and seismological processes. Therefore, monitoring radon concentration is widely used in seismology as a geochemical indicator.
