Authors

In this article, the structural and semantic features of verbs of social relations in English and Uzbek are studied on the basis of a
comparative analytical approach. It highlights the similarities and differences in the expression of speech acts - respect, obedience,
command, address, gratitude-mainly through the analysis of morphological structure, syntactic functions and semantic categories
of verbs. The article also shows the influence of verbs in a social context on the range of meanings associated with national and
cultural factors in both languages. The research results have practical implications for translation theory, pragmalinguistics, and
language learning processes.
