ASSESSING THE NOSOGEOGRAPHICAL CONDITION OF URBAN AREAS UNDER GLOBAL CLIMATE CHANGE (CASE STUDY OF KOKAND CITY)
This paper evaluates the nosogeographical condition of Kokand City under global climate change and analyzes, in an integrated
manner, the health implications of climatic hazard factors (heat waves, drought, humidity deficit, wind, and dust–aerosol transport)
together with urbanization-related pressures (exhaust gases and emissions, scarcity of green spaces, and constraints in water supply
and sanitation systems). The study applies the DPSIR (Driving Forces–Pressures–State–Impacts–Responses) conceptual
framework and a scoring-based integrated risk index, synthesizing monthly climate normals for 1991–2021 as well as international,
national, and local climate reports. The paper concludes by proposing priority directions for practical adaptation measures aimed
at reducing the identified risks
