Maqola ingliz adabiyotida, xususan U.Shekspir tragediyalarida o‘lim va yo‘qotish motivlarining badiiy ifodasida gul va o‘simlik
obrazlarining semantik hamda madaniy-funksional o‘rnini lingvopoetik rakursda tadqiq etadi. Korpus - Hamlet, Otello, Romeo va
Julyetta; usul - qiyosiy-tahliliy. Tahlil shuni ko‘rsatadiki, Ofeliya gullari, “Tol qo‘shig‘i” va to‘y–motam sahnalaridagi floral kodlar
qahramon ruhiyati, motam/xotira kayfiyati va hayotning o‘tkinchiligi singari mazmunlarni ixcham metaforik ramzlar orqali uyg‘un
aks ettiradi. Natijalar Shekspir poetikasida tabiat obrazlari dramatik struktura bilan semantik uyg‘unlikda ishlashini, ularning
lingvokulturologik ildizlari va estetik qiymatini ochib beradi hamda ingliz adabiyotida ramziy obrazlar funksiyasini chuqurroq
anglash va keyingi tadqiqotlar uchun metodik asos yaratadi.
