This article analyzes the role of civil society institutions in reducing legal nihilism from a socio-philosophical perspective. The study examines the essence of legal nihilism, the factors contributing to its formation, and the functions of civil society institutions in promoting legal culture and legal consciousness. It also analyzes the democratic reforms being implemented in Uzbekistan, the activities of civil society institutions, and the processes of building a rule-of-law state. The research findings substantiate the importance of mahalla institutions, non-governmental non-profit organizations, mass media, educational institutions, and public oversight bodies in reducing legal nihilism.
