Desertification of soil landscapes in Uzbekistan affects significant territories, which leads to a decrease in biological productivity
and soil fertility. These processes directly affect agriculture, which is experiencing environmental discomfort. Desertification
processes entail, in many cases, a decrease in the productivity of cattle breeding. Desertification processes are also intensively
occurring in Kyzylkums. The article studies the agrochemical properties and mechanical composition of sandy desert soils. It is
established that the soils of the farm of the Bukhara region of Karaulbazar district are light loamy in terms of the mechanical
composition of the soils, the mobile content of P 2 O 5 and K 2 O and the humus content are low and medium.
