The article examines the current psychophysiological state of young football players. The study involved 17 football players from the Tashkent Football Academy. The athletes were 13 years old. The following research methods were used: Luscher color test, Raven's Progressive Matrices and the Moving Object Reaction (MOR). It was found that all the studied indicators had an average and above average level of manifestation, and connections were found between the indicators of the psychoemotional state, neurodynamic characteristics and non-verbal intelligence in the group of young football players. The data obtained indicate that a high level of performance, a low level of fatigue and anxiety, the presence of subjective mental comfort, a high indicator of eccentricity (the desire to give energy) and low concentricity (the desire to accumulate energy) determine the balance of nervous processes and contribute to rapid and effective perception, processing of non-verbal information and making optimal decisions in the game among young football players.
