The article analyzes the theoretical foundations, legal basis, and practical forms of the public oversight institution. Based on Western philosophical approaches and the experience of Uzbekistan, the article highlights the significance, actors, and development trends of this institution. The research employs legal analysis and a comparative approach as its methodology.
