Mazkur tadqiqotda marjumak (Fagopyrum esculentum Moench) namunalarida transpiratsiya jadalligi, barglardagi umumiy suv miqdori va bargdagi suv ushlash xususiyatlari kabi suv almashinuvining fiziologik ko‘rsatkichlari va barg sathi (barg maydoni) o‘rganildi. Transpiratsiya jadalligi ko‘rsatkichi yuqori bo‘lgan namunalar keng barg sathiga ega bo‘lib, barglardagi umumiy suv miqdori va barglarning suv ushlash xususiyati yuqori bo‘lishi qurg‘oqchilikka chidamliligi bilan izohlanadi.
