THE PLACE AND ROLE OF IMPROVING THE ELECTORAL SYSTEM IN THE FORMATION OF THE NEW UZBEKISTAN

This article analyzes the characteristics and aspects of electoral systems and discusses elections and electoral systems in developed countries. It also examines the advantages and disadvantages of majoritarian, mixed, and proportional electoral systems. In the formation of the new Uzbekistan, the advantages of transitioning from the current majoritarian electoral system to a mixed electoral system initially, and then to a proportional electoral system, are discussed.
