Publication ethics and cases of abuse
The scientific-theoretical journal of the National University of Uzbekistan is devoted to the implementation of best practices on ethical issues, mistakes and rejections. The following responsibilities for editors, authors, and reviewers are based on COPE's Code of Ethics for Journal Editors. Editors, authors and reviewers, as well as the scientific-theoretical journal, follow the policies and submission guidelines of the National University of Uzbekistan.
Editorial responsibility
Publication Decisions: The Editor-in-Chief has full responsibility for accepting, rejecting, or requesting revisions to any submitted manuscript. He should do it only in a fair and impartial manner.
Fair Play: Editors must not use any bias or prejudice against the author during the review process.
Conflict of interest: The editors should have no conflict of interest regarding the article under review.
Anonymity: The anonymity of both the reviewers and the author must be maintained during the review process.
Errors in published works: If an error is discovered, the editors will help publish a correction or retraction.
Accuracy of Originality: Editors must make every effort to ensure reasonable assurance that each manuscript is assessed for originality, including, but not limited to, through a double-blind peer review process by at least two reviewers. use.
Responsibility of the author
Reporting standards: Authors must accurately report their original research and objectively discuss its significance. All authors must have made substantial contributions to the research and the body of literature.
Originality: Authors must ensure that they have written entirely original work.
References and sources: Authors should fully cite all data sources used in the study and cite the publications following the journal's submission guidelines. All citations must be authentic and genuine.
Selection: Authors must participate in the peer review process.
Multiple, redundant, or concurrent publications: Authors should not submit the same manuscript to more than one publication at the same time. Also, the author is expected not to publish redundant manuscripts or manuscripts describing the same research in several publications.
Authorship: Authorship is limited to those who contributed substantially to the conception, design, execution, or interpretation of the reported study. Others who have made significant contributions should be listed as co-authors. Authors may use acknowledgments to acknowledge other contributors to the manuscript. Authors must also ensure that all authors have seen and agreed to the submitted version of the manuscript and that they include their names as co-authors.
Disclosure of Financial Support: Sources of financial support, if any, must be disclosed.
Errors in Published Works: All authors are responsible for rejecting or correcting errors and must report any errors or inaccuracies in submitted manuscripts to the Editor-in-Chief.
Responsibilities of the reviewer
Standard of objectivity: Review of submitted manuscripts must be objective, and reviewers must provide their opinions to the editors through a double-blind peer review process with supporting evidence. must clearly express.
Conflict of interest: Reviewers should have no conflict of interest with respect to the study, the authors, and/or the funders of the study.
Reviewers should not accept manuscripts for review in which a potential conflict of interest may arise, and reviewers should notify the Editor-in-Chief of any matter that may present a conflict of interest.
Confidentiality: Information regarding manuscripts submitted by authors should be kept confidential and treated as privileged information. Manuscripts are kept by the reviewers for consideration for publication in the Scientific-Theoretical Journal of the National University of Uzbekistan and are not stored or used for other purposes.
Acknowledgment: Reviewers should cite relevant published work that has not yet been cited. Reviewers should ensure that authors cite full references and all relevant information
sources of information used in the research.
Speed: If the reviewer believes that it is not possible to review the manuscript completely and quickly within the deadline (usually 14-21 days), this information should be sent to the editors so that the manuscript can be fully reviewed. and can be reviewed quickly. will be sent to another reviewer.
