Publishing ethics of the journal
Publishing Ethics of the Journal "Literary Studies: A Modern Paradigm"
The editorial board and editorial staff of our journal strictly adhere to international standards of publication ethics, as well as the requirements of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the provisions of our own Charter. Below are the main principles and responsibilities of all participants in the editorial process – the founder, publisher, editors, reviewers, authors, and readers.
1. Responsibilities of the Publisher/Founder
1. Promote compliance with ethical standards by all participants in the process.
2. Support the editorial board in investigating possible violations and, if necessary, publish retractions, corrections, or apologies.
3. Ensure open access to articles; copyright remains with the authors.
4. Do not interfere with the scientific content of the journal for political or commercial interests.

2. Responsibilities of the Editorial Board and the Editor-in-Chief
• Decision-making – based on the scientific significance, originality, and reliability of the data; Discrimination is excluded.
• Confidentiality – non-disclosure of information about manuscripts and reviewers.
• Anti-plagiarism – review of each study (at least 75% originality).
• Review process – double-blind, no more than 40 days.
• Timely issues – 4 issues per year.
• Publication of corrections and retractions – if serious errors or dishonesty are discovered.

3. Reviewer's Responsibilities
1. Treat the manuscript as a confidential document.
2. Provide an objective, reasoned opinion; personal criticism of the author is unacceptable.
3. Notify the editors of any potential conflicts of interest and, if necessary, decline to review.
4. Indicate uncited works and possible overlaps with published sources.

4. Author Responsibilities
• Originality and credibility. Present new results; correctly format plagiarism.
• Unique submission. Do not simultaneously submit the article to another journal; avoid duplicating publications.
• Data transparency. Provide source materials for verification, if necessary.
• Co-authorship. Only those who have made significant contributions are listed.
• Conflict of Interest. Disclose sources of funding and potential affiliations.
• Corrections. Promptly notify the editor of significant errors.

5. Conflict of Interest
Any financial, academic, or personal affiliations that could influence the evaluation of the work must be disclosed:
• Authors - in a cover letter;
• Reviewers - by notifying the editor;
• The editors - by redirecting the manuscript to another reviewer, if necessary.

6. Anti-Misconduct Principles
• Investigation – any suspected plagiarism, data fabrication, or ethical violation.
• Resolutions – from requests for clarification to rejection, retraction, and notification to the author's employer.
• Transparency – information about corrections, retractions, and retractions is published in the public domain.
