In the vivarium established at the Faculty of Biology and Ecology of the Mirzo Ulugbek National University of Uzbekistan,
specimens of the Moroccan locust were collected from the Forish and Zomin districts of the Jizzakh region using entomological
nets. The purpose was to cultivate feed for the locusts and obtain unconventional proteins and nutrients under laboratory conditions.
To study the biology of this locust species, an experiment was launched on April 15, 2025. Field-collected Moroccan locust nymphs
of the 1st and 2nd instars were released into an insectary measuring 2 meters in width and 2 meters in height. Each tier of the
structure was equipped with ventilators and enclosed with a special protective net.The results of the scientific research were
analyzed and presented in tables.
