PRODUCTION OF ALTERNATIVE PROTEIN FROM LOCUSTS IN UZBEKISTAN AND ITS EFFECT ON THE ORGANISM
Downloads
This study investigates the production of alternative protein and biologically valuable nutrients from locusts, specifically the
Moroccan locust, under Uzbekistan conditions. The research focused on creating optimal conditions for growth and reproduction,
developing an efficient feed base, and assessing the effects of the obtained products on the organism. Experiments were conducted
under laboratory conditions at the vivarium of the Faculty of Biology and Ecology, National University of Uzbekistan named after
Mirzo Ulugbek. Locusts collected from the Forish and Zomin districts using entomological equipment were used in the study. The
results provide a practical foundation for developing alternative feed sources in livestock and poultry farming.
