This article examines the comparative study of paralinguistic means and speech etiquette formulas in English and Uzbek. The research analyzes the linguistic and cultural features of both languages, the communicative functions of speech etiquette, and the context-dependency of paralinguistic expressions. The results show that the cultural context significantly influences the choice and use of speech etiquette and paralinguistic devices. The findings provide valuable insights for translators, linguists, and language researchers.
