MODERN DIRECTIONS FOR IMPROVING THE SYSTEM OF TRAINING PEDAGOGICAL SPECIALISTS

The article analyzes the main directions for modernizing the system of training pedagogical specialists in contemporary conditions. It highlights such key issues as the competency-based approach, the integration of “higher education – science – industry,” the introduction of digital educational technologies, dual and practice-oriented education, updating the content of pedagogical education on the basis of international standards, as well as the development of professional and personal competencies of pedagogical personnel. The research findings indicate the necessity of improving the system of training pedagogical specialists on the basis of a results-oriented, competency-based, and innovative educational model
