The application of modern methods and pedagogical technologies in case-study technology in teaching molecular physics at higher education institutions. The study analyzes the essence, structure, and ways of implementing the case-study method in the main sections of molecular physics. In addition, the issues of linking students’ theoretical knowledge with practice through the study of molecular processes based on real-life situations, as well as developing independent thinking, problem analysis, and decisionmaking competencies, are examined. The results of experimental and trial lessons demonstrate that classes organized on the basis of case-study technology increase the effectiveness of the educational process. The research findings contribute to the improvement of the methodology for teaching molecular physics.
