IJTIMOIY TARMOQLARGA QARAMLIK PSIXOSOSIAL FENOMEN SIFATIDA
This article analyzes the process of formation and theoretical foundations of the phenomenon of social media addiction within the framework of a psychosocial approach. Based on a theoretical-comparative analysis and systematic interpretation of existing scientific sources, the study substantiates SMA as a relatively independent type of behavioral addiction and highlights the dynamics of its development in the context of four historical stages. The obtained results showed that the six-component model proposed by M. Griffiths is a conceptually important theoretical basis for explaining the psychosocial mechanisms of SMA
