This article examines the process of English lexical borrowing in the Korean language from historical, sociolinguistic, and linguistic perspectives. The study is conducted using a diachronic approach based on theoretical frameworks established in Korean linguistics, and it analyzes the development of English loanwords across three main historical stages. The findings of the study contribute to a deeper understanding of the transformations occurring in the Korean lexical system under the global influence of the English language.
