This article examines the semantic features of economic Anglicisms in Russian and Uzbek from a contrastive perspective. The study focuses on semantic stability in professional texts and on semantic shifts observed in popular media and everyday usage. Using items such as marketing, startup, risk, and e-commerce, the analysis identifies semantic narrowing, semantic broadening, evaluative connotations, and variant forms across the two languages. The findings contribute to terminological consistency, translation practice, and lexicographic description of modern economic vocabulary.
