TRANSLATION AND LEXICOGRAPHIC ASPECTS OF ENERGY LEXICAL UNITS IN ENGLISH AND UZBEK
This article analyzes the translation and lexicographic issues of energy lexical units in English and Uzbek from a scientific-linguistic
perspective. Three types of terminological equivalence (full, partial, and zero equivalence), translation strategies (calquing, transliteration,
descriptive translation), stylistic problems and six lexicographic principles are thoroughly examined
