THE ROLE OF ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE IN MODERN TEACHING METHODS OF THE ENGLISH LANGUAGE
This paper examines the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in contemporary English language teaching (ELT). It presents pedagogical
benefits (personalization, instant feedback, speaking practice, intelligent tutoring), discusses major tools and implementations, analyzes
empirical evidence of effectiveness, and outlines ethical/technical challenges. The paper concludes with recommendations for teachers and
institutions on integrating AI into language curricula.
