Students’ academic and professional activities are accompanied by high psycho-emotional demands, caused by regular preparation for
tests, seminar participation, and the completion of independent assignments. Under these conditions, there is a risk of superstition
manifesting as a form of psychological regulation of students’ emotional states. It has been shown that, overall, students exhibit a moderate
level of superstition in their academic activities, which contributes to feelings of calm, the search for meaning in challenging situations,
satisfaction of curiosity, maintenance of social contacts, and control over events.
