This article examines the theoretical foundations of the concepts of frame and gestalt within cognitive linguistics and analyzes their similarities and differences. The author highlights the dialectical relationship between language and thought, explaining the mechanisms of knowledge structuring and perception processes in the human mind from a cognitive perspective. The frame is interpreted as a structure of stereotypical knowledge, while gestalt explains perception as a holistic process. The study also explores the interrelation of the concepts of concept and script, emphasizing their role in linguistic and cognitive analysis. The practical application of frame and gestalt analysis is demonstrated through examples from literary texts. The research concludes that these two approaches complement each other and contribute to a deeper understanding of cognitive processes and the linguistic worldview.
