METHODOLOGY FOR DEVELOPING THE PROFESSIONAL COMPETENCE OF FUTURE ENGINEERS BASED ON DIGITAL EDUCATIONAL TOOLS
This paper describes a methodology for the effective use of digital educational tools in the process of forming and developing the
professional competence of future engineers. The study analyzes changes in the content of engineering education under conditions
of modern digital transformation, as well as the role and significance of digital competencies in professional training. In addition,
the didactic potential of virtual laboratories, simulation models, distance learning platforms, artificial intelligence–based learning
environments, and digital assessment tools in developing the professional competencies of future engineers is revealed. Based on
the research findings, a methodological approach aimed at integrating digital educational tools into the learning process is proposed,
which contributes to improving the quality of engineering education, strengthening practical skills, and preparing students for
independent professional activity.
