INGLIZ VA QORAQALPOQ ADABIY TAFAKKURIDA GASTRONOMIK KONSEPTLARNING VERBAL IFODASI
This article comprehensively analyzes the verbal expression of gastronomic concepts in English and Karakalpak literary thought based on cognitive, semantic and linguocultural approaches. The study studied metaphorical models, associative fields and semantic transformations of food-related units in a comparative aspect. The results showed that gastronomic concepts play an important role in the conceptualization of abstract concepts based on human experience. Along with the existence of common universal models in both language cultures, national specificities were also identified.
