The article presents in the form of graphs the correlational connections between the properties of pre-engineering and subsequent
seismic, physical-mechanical and, moreover, strength of sedimentary lyoss grunts, which serve as the basis of buildings and
structures. The results obtained were deeply analyzed and compared. Within the framework of the study, seismorazvedka i.e., the
results obtained in field research and laboratory conditions are described. At the time of earthquakes, the strength of buildings
and structures in the areas where the lyoss grunts are scattered is of great importance, not only for their structural type, but also
for the seismic, physical, mechanical and strength properties of the lyoss grunts that form the basis of the foundation. Especially
in our country, almost 90% of the constructions are built on sedimentary lyoss grunts.
