INFLUENCE OF LITHOLOGICAL STRUCTURE AND GROUNDWATER ON SOIL LIQUEFACTION (A CASE STUDY OF TERMEZ CITY)
This paper analyzes the influence of the lithological structure of soils and groundwater on soil liquefaction in the territory of Termez
City. The composition of soils, groundwater level, and their relationship were investigated based on geological cross-sections and
borehole data. The results indicate that the highest liquefaction susceptibility is observed in areas with sandy soils and shallow
groundwater levels.
