The article proposes an adaptive pedagogical technology for developing students’ information security competence according to individual needs and risk profiles. Competency mapping, evidence-centered assessment design, learning analytics, and maturity modeling were applied. A six-stage cycle was developed: diagnosis, individual pathway, adaptive micro-module, safe practice, multi-evidence assessment, and redirection. Monitoring extends beyond test scores to scenario decisions, practical artifacts, error types, help-seeking, incident reporting, and reflection dynamics. The technology recommends targeted tasks for weak components while advancing high-performing learners through complex professional cases and peer mentoring.
