INGLIZ VA O‘ZBEK BADIIY ASARLARIDA ANTONIMLAR TARJIMASIDA PRAGMATIK ASPEKT
This article examines the unique challenges involved in translating antonyms found in English and Uzbek literary texts. Antonyms carry not only a lexical-semantic function but also convey cultural, emotional, and poetic nuances. The discussion highlights the importance of accurately interpreting cultural codes, preserving the author’s artistic intent, and selecting translation equivalents that meet the pragmatic goals of the source material.
